🌸Today’s post shall be soft and sweet. 🌸
I would like to share with you some tips that have really helped keep my pole Journey going strong and with less risk of injury.📝
5 key points I have learnt in my 3 year (still counting ) pole journey:🌸💕
👂🏾Listen to your body. Your body will always communicate how she is feeling. Rest when you are tired , come to class when you feel you are mentally and emotionally drained, the process shouldn’t hurt beyond pole kisses or muscles soreness.
🦋Be patient and kind with yourself. Our bodies respond differently to workouts.
avoid comparing your journey with the other person, keep your consistency and you will see results. You will have good days and great days. it’s okay if you don’t nail the trick on the same day, it is part of the process. Remember to be gentle on yourself
🍱🧘🏾♀️🪴💫Overall well being. Your diet and sleep schedule is crucial to how well you perform on the pole. ( we shall have a workshop on the 21st of September 2024 ksh 2500) to discuss gut health and how important it is to your well being
🔑 consistency key. Consistency doesn’t mean you have to train everyday , life happens that might require you to take a break, that’s okay. The will and strength to come back when you can is what is most important.
🛝Have fun with the process. Life can be serious and fast, this is the one space you can slow down , be intentional, escape your everyday regime for an hour and work on your self love while at it.
Keep moving , keep flowing.
Hoping this brings some positive energy flowing through your process.
See you on the mat and on the pole
Much love ❤️💕💫
